Over the years I have tried to see who or what my characters are. This page houses my many failures (and fine, successes) at photo manipulation, paintings created, and possible cover designs. It's like a pictoral history of my visual art as well as pieces that inspired me to carry on with my story creation. My story boards:
My very first series-- Originally titled Once Again: A Modern Fairy Tale, and now the series is titled Tales of Destiny.
Mara is the main female character. Finding pictures to portray her has been hard to do over the years, but these images reflect her essence to me. Her written description: Five foot five, pale skin, long dark curls. Blue-gray eyes that lean toward purple. She has Native American roots in her distant past but it does not define her looks in a noticeable way. |

Aerrvin is the main male character of the series and he was and is the hardest to capture . . .what can you expect from a Fairy? This story board includes inspiration for Wind Sprites, Mermaids, and Unicorns as they are all things related to Aerrvin. His written description: Five inches and a bit when in his natural state. Aerrvin sports Purple wings most of the time, but being royal he also has Gold and Silver powers available. He gains the coveted ability to wear Blue wings in Book One. Whe he upsizes to Elven/Human proportions he is six foot something. His golden har is smooth with a light wave, his eyes are lavender rimmed by dark lashes. His eyes aften sparkle with mirth and his smirk has been perfected over decades of practice.
